Georgia Private Investigator Certificate Course $1250 Tuition
Effective September 1, 2010
  This course will teach you all you need to know before going into the private investigative field. The course covers all topics you would encounter such as the history, ethics, rules and regulations, interviewing, information sources, note taking, courtroom testimony, court records search, crime scene investigation, laws of arrest, misdemeanors and felonies, basic video and photography lessons, and much more. You will be involved in practical exercises, such as surveillance, evidence collection and courtroom testimony.

This course exceeds the education requirement for state licensing as a private investigator. The course is 100 hours. It runs for 14 weeks and meets two nights a week. Financing options are available for this course.

A $100 payment arrangement fee will be charged if full tuition is not paid prior to the first day of class.

Firearms Certification Training ($350 Additional Tuition) +$25.00 Range fee
An optional basic firearms training is offered in conjunction with this course, at a discounted fee of $350. The basic firearms training includes 8 hours of classroom and 8 hours of range training. The firearms training exceeds Georgia’s state requirements for concealed or exposed permits.
 

 
 
Continuing Education

$250 Tuition

  These courses exceeds the continuing education requirements as set forth by the Georgia Secretary of State’s office and the Georgia Board of Private Detectives and Securities Agency. Training will include 2 hours in Homeland Security (to include but not limited to, indicators of terrorism and cooperation with Homeland Security agencies), 2 hours in Ethics and 12 hours in industry related training.

Firearms Re-Certification Training ($150 Additional Tuition)

Firearms training available in addition to this curriculum will exceed the firearms certification and re-certification requirements as set forth by the state of Georgia.
