This course will provide you with the
skill set necessary to obtain a position
as a professional protective security
officer. The course covers the history,
the role of a PSO, crime prevention and
awareness, rules and regulations, ethics
and professionalism, report writing,
courtroom testimony, anti-terrorism,
first aid, officer safety, alarm systems
and much more.
This course exceeds the education
requirement for state licensing as a
security officer. The course is 30+
hours and meets 3 consecutive days in a
week without the firearms portion of the
week and 5 consecutive days a week with
the firearms course.
